Throughout the years, we have found some really cool tins that we transformed into switch plates and outlet covers! Many have been one-of-a kind! We have many lucky customers who cherish these unique switch plates! Check our site regularly, so you can join the many customers who have switch plates made from rare, hard to find tins! THESE ARE JUST A FEW EXAMPLES!

Switch plates and outlet covers have been made from the lid of a tin Cake Keeper, 
an old A&P Coffee tin and a Del Monte Vegetable tin canister! 

Lifebuoy Soap tins, although not very old, are hard to find and in demand as switch plates! The Folger’s Coffee tin is one of only 2 made into switch plates. Flour tins with the Pillsbury Doughboy have been one of our most popular.
We have found only 3 of these tins over the years!

We find varieties of unique coffee tins, like Kybo Coffee! We love the graphics on Maple Syrup tins! It is rare to find a spice tin, like the S.S. Pierce Cinnamon Spice tin, since spice tins are usually too small for switch plates.

We made a special die form for the Chase & Sanborn Coffee tin to suit the graphics! This is a tin we probably will never find again, so only 2 of these switch plates are in existence and one is still available! Old coffee tins in great condition, like the A&P Coffee double switch plate and the Red Owl Coffee single switch plate, are amazing finds!

The older tins had such great colors and graphics! The Bowers Coconut Nut Crisps switch plate is truly vintage in design and the bold colors are rare for a tin this old. The Bakerex Baking Pan is SO unusual, we could not believe it when we found it! The Peerless Maid Candy switch plate was made from a tin that was over 80 years old! We didn’t have to travel far to find this. It was at a yard sale at the end of our street! You can imagine how exciting it is to go on the hunt and find tins that surprise us!
